Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our clients as best as we can.
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
*Cancellation Terms:*
- *Deposit Forfeiture:* If you cancel your booking, your deposit will be forfeited.
- *Rescheduling:* However, you have the option to reschedule your booking within three months of the cancellation date, subject to availability, however 50% of the deposit will be forfeited.
- *Notification:* To reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days prior to your original booking date.
- *New Booking Terms:* Your rescheduled booking will be subject to our current availability and pricing at the time of rescheduling.

Security Deposits
Deposits are refunded within 7 days after departure, provided the following provisions are met:
No damage is done to the property or its contents
No signs or smells of cigarettes having been smoked in the property – evidence will result in the full deposit being withheld!
All items on the inventory list are accounted for.
All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in rubbish bins and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and/or cleaned.
All keys, alarm and/or gate remotes are returned as initially handed over.
All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
The renter can be evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement.
List Your Space is a marketing platform that promotes self-catering holiday accommodations on behalf of the owners. We do not manage the properties directly and are not responsible for handling guest complaints, disputes, or issues. Any concerns or complaints regarding a booking, stay, or property will be directed and addressed with the property owner, who is solely responsible for resolving such matters. The List Your Space consultant will help you resolve your complaint as soon as possible.

Payment, Arrival & Departure
Payment of the deposit secures your reservation and confirms that you are in agreement with the following:
Number of guests
The number of guests occupying a property may not exceed the maximum number of guests stated on the invoice and booking confirmation. Failure to comply with this rule will result in this agreement being cancelled without refund.
NO SMOKING!!
All our villas/properties are strictly non-smoking. Failure to comply with this rule will result in this agreement being cancelled without refund or full security deposit withheld.
Check in time is from 14h00 to 17h00 – later check-in times are to be arranged prior to arrival and may carry a R250 surcharge which will be deducted from security deposits if not pre-arranged.
Check out time is 10h00 or by prior arrangement.

Damage & Liability
Damage or losses
The guest is responsible for leaving the property in good order and in a clean condition. The guest further undertakes to pay for any damages or losses incurred during occupation. The owner or property manager reserves the right to repossess the property if the guest or a member of their party has caused excessive damage or has failed to comply with any of the getaways rules.
Liability
While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure that safety measures are in place at all our getaways, List Your Space, its agents, servants, owners and assignees do not except any liability whatsoever for any injury, loss or damage sustained to any person or property whilst staying in any of the accommodation or partaking in any activity booked through us.
